If you're not a fan of Apple's Live Photos feature on the iPhone, you're in luck. You can disable it entirely with just a few taps. The feature is good but takes more storage space.
Live photos is nothing but a living image having some sound and having your moments.
Go to Albums. Here you will see all different categories type like Selfies, portrait, time-lapse, live photos, Slo-mo.
Open the camera app. Press the icon on top right corner which is of live photo and turn it off.

What about the live photos which you have already taken ? How you will share it as a normal pic ?
Open the pic in photos app. Select OFF from the drop down menu where Live is written. (Probably in top left corner)

Even though you disabled the Live photos, the pics which are already taken using Live photos method will stay and reserve the Storage space.
The display resolution of 2021 model is 3456 x 2234 pixels as compared to 2019 model which is having 3072 x 1920 pixels
